Welcome to our Grange!

The Sammamish Valley Grange, in addition to being a community center for the Sammamish Valley, is the affiliate of the National Grange, the Washington State Grange, and the King County Pomona Grange.
Since 1909, we have provided many services to the rural residents of the Sammamish Valley.  From being the social center of the middle Sammamish Valley, to being a resource to local farmers, we have provided many educational, networking, and social opportunities to the individuals of the Sammamish Valley over these 100+ years.

Recently, we returned to our roots by making it our major mission to assist the small agricultural producer.  For this reason, most of our activities now center on agriculturally-related activities.  The member of this Grange helped organize the Sammamish Valley Alliance, and it was members of this Grange are in communication with other farmers across the state to propose ideas to create legislative proposals that support sustainable, small-farm agriculture..

Over these last ten years, this Grange has helped positively transform this valley.  We developed the Heritage Garden near Woodinville Farm, we helped create the Sammamish Valley Alliance, and we are involved in assisting 4-H and Transition Woodinville.  The links provided show the various organizations with which we are affiliated.

In addition to what I have already mentioned, there are a lot of opportunities to being a Grange member.  You have an opportunity to introduce proposed legislative changes via a resolution the to the Washington State Grange, you can participate in the various contests the State Grange offers, or you can assist in the various community service in which this Grange participates.

This website is a good reflection of all the activities in which this Grange gets involved.  So I encourage you to check out everything that is mentioned here.
