4-H & the Grange |
|
Sammamish Valley 4-H 4-H, standing for head, heart, hands, and help, is a rural-based service organization for rural youth. The 4-H club that this Grange sponsors, the Sammamish Valley 4-H, teaches kids about raising sheep, goats, chickens, and rabbits. In addition, the kids get involved in planting crops, and service activities as well. During the year, 4-H kids may assist in raising animals (such as goats and sheep). And they may enter many 4-H contests at the Evergreen State Fair, to win various ribbons. This year, we are sending all 4-H kids to Grange camp at the end of July (check here for more information about Grange camp). If your children are a active members of 4-H, we will send them to Coronet Bay Grange camp, for a whole week, up at the northern end of Whidbey Island.
